Rocketry and Solid Propellant Qualifications and Experience

Rocketry Experience and Certifications - How it all started!

    • I began to be involved with rocketry in the summer of 2014. First, by going to local rocketry clubs like SEARS-572, and others alike in the area. It began with observing others launch and recover their rockets. This got my adrenaline pumping, and I wanted to do it too.
    • First, I got some entry-level small rocket kits, which I built and launched. It was such a rush and so much fun that I wanted to go bigger.
    • My first bigger rocket was the DX3. This rocket is what I flew to obtain my NAR & TRA L1 Certificate in November of 2014.
    • For my L2, which I got in January of 2015, I used the same DX3 rocket, but i extended it, and modified it for dual deployment.
    • I started building more and more rockets and flying them on L1 and L2 motors.
    • For my L3 certification, which I got in March of 2015, I built and flew the 6" Performer 150 from Performance Hobbies.
    • I have been certified by both NAR and TRA L3 since March 2015. Since then i have been building, flying, and recovering many rockets.
    • From here on, my motto was: The skies are no longer a limit, and I have built dozens of rockets and flown hundreds of flights...
    • I went on to design my own custom builds and manufacture them out of different materials, such as composites, 3D printing, CNC machining, etc.
    • In 2021, I started considering making my own propellants. This started with researching other propellants, chemicals, safety, manufacturing, and testing. Now, I fly my own research propellants.
    • My ultimate goal (like many other like-minded individuals) is to send my own rocket into space.

These are but a small section of all rockets, builds, and launches I've done.
